Meaning:

The Serpent, Jornungand, the “Midgard Serpent,” one of Loki's children with the giantess, Angrboda, lives in the great endless sea that surrounds Midgard, our visible world. So enormous is he that his body forms a circle around the entirety of Midgard.

Jormungand rises from the depths to devour a Viking longboat and crew. Njord, Vanir God of the Sea and Wind, guardian of the fertility of the sea, rises to their defense. A single star shines in the night, illuminating the fierce battle, giving hope, and blessings of the god to the crew, their dreams of assistance answered.
